Our second candidate is Georgina who is stating that the idea that women are objectified in music videos is irrelevant to the songs most of the time. With our product in mind, we feel that Georgina would be appreciative of our choice to have shot close-ups and mid-shots of the female artist. This would signify to people like Georgina that our music video is not provocative of the female body in any form. Georgina did state that she likes that the girls in the music videos are pretty which is something we took into consideration when casting Chloe.
I felt that Chloe's features were particularly photogenic and would thus be aesthetically pleasing to shoot in our music video.
Overall, asking for people's general opinions about music videos has taught more more about what Chloe and I need to do in order to make our music video a success.
When our music video is complete we will show it to friends or family or classmates with objective views to discover if our approach meets the requirements of what people want to see in a music video.
